Checklist of Documents
1: Valid ID card (passport, refugee card, etc.)
2: Language Certificate.
If you want to study in English or Turkish, please provide the following certificates. You can check the minimum language requirements on the websites of the relevant
IELTS or TOEFL
No certificate needed
3: High School Diploma (Baccalaureate).
4: Equivalent Certificate (Turkish: ‘Denklik)
The Turkish Ministry of Education recently changed their policy concerning the recognition of the Syrian, Libyan and Iraqi high school diplomas in Turkey. If you have a Syrian (also Syrian Interim Government), Libyan or Iraqi high school diploma, obtained before 2016, you just need to get an Equivalent Certificate from the government. You are no longer required to take the Equivalent exam, or the Denklik exam.

5: Get a notarized translation of your certificate to English/Turkish.
If you have a non-Turkish high school diploma (baccalaureate), you will need to provide a translation of this document to English or Turkish. You need to take your original high school diploma (baccalaureate) to a public notary in Turkey, and ask for an official translation.
